Puppies’ First Christmas

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and that Santa was good to you!

Charlie was slow to wake up this morning.  He was so excited for Santa to come that he hardly slept last night.  I think he tried to catch Santa putting goodies in his stocking, but ol’ St. Nick is way too sneaky to get busted!

The dogs were happy to find new stuffed animals and special biscuits in their stockings this morning.

The new puppies had fun today.  They’re starting to find their legs, so they ran around the house all day playing with their new toys.

And they played tug with the Christmas tree skirt…

…and the tree, for that matter.

“Big brother”, Melvin, watched over all the pups to make sure they didn’t get into too much trouble.

Melvin got a great gift from our friends, Paige and Allan (thanks guys!!).  It’s a Pet’s Eye View Camera that attaches to his collar and takes pictures every few minutes.  We’re going to test that baby out and post some results right here on this blog in the coming days!

The little gals got to enjoy some dog food with rice for their Christmas dinner.  They loved it!

All that playing and the big meal made them sleepy, so they snuggled up for a snooze.

It was a perfect Christmas!
