That’s Our Boy
Hi, folks! We hope you’re having a fun weekend.
We’d like to introduce you to Mitchell. He’s a male from Mitch and Sally’s litter who we will be keeping. We’re on a big kick right now, apparently, to name our male pups after their fathers, hence Mitchell.
Really, he’s Mitch Jr., but if you’ve been reading for a while, you know that we named Farmer Jr. after his dad, Farmer. We call Farmer Jr. either “Junior” or “J.R.” for short, so we didn’t really feel like we could call this guy Mitch Jr., so Mitchell it is! As I said, we’re on a roll naming our males after dear ol’ dad, so I’ll just warn you now, we couldn’t help ourselves…there’s yet another Jr. in the mix, but we’ll save that for another post.
All the ins and outs of naming puppies aside, heeeeeere’s Mitchell!
His instincts must be telling him to soak up as much summer sun as he can while it lasts! He fell fast asleep, in no time flat, on the warm grass. I wonder if he was dreaming about his future as a member of our expedition team, running right beside his daddy.
What do you think he’s dreaming about?
Kidding! I bet he ‘runs’ in his sleep, just like my AH puppy does. I picked him up yesterday and I bet he’s run a mile already (while sleeping)!
