Unseasonably Cold
The North Slope of Alaska is one of those places where you just never know what’s coming in regards to the weather. Some years it warms up early and quickly so break-up starts happening before you know what hit you. And other times it just doesn’t seem to warm up like it normally would. That’s certainly the case this year.
It’s –60F and colder still up north. March usually brings with it more sunshine and temperatures around –20F. What’s the deal? I hope it warms up and gives the expedition crew some relief!
