Malamute of the Month – Charlie
I know, I know…June is almost over, but it’s never too late to designate a Mal of the Month. So, without further ado, I present to you, Charlie!
Charlie is our big baby. He doesn’t get to go on the arctic expeditions because I am an overprotective mother. I make him stay home with me and Melvin and spoil him beyond belief. He and Melvin are the best of friends. They play together, eat together, and get into trouble together. It’s been that way since Charlie was just a little squirt.
Charlie has one heck of a personality. He really likes to ham it up for the camera. That rascal!
Charlie has many special talents. He likes to shake hands and he’s not afraid to ask for something he wants. For example, when he’s thirsty, he will grab his water dish between his teeth and prance around in front of you until you escort him to the kitchen sink. Then, if you ask him if he wants a drink, he will wildly nod “yes!” He’s one smart cookie. That’s my boy…
